CRT Recycling Plant Details

In an age when community is rapidly becoming a thing of the past, we at CRT Recycling have taken steps to integrate ourselves into the local community.  We have sponsored both the local Concert and Fete and have become the major sponsor of the local football team, at the heart of the community.  We implemented a local liaison group to help ensure that we minimised the impact of our activities on the local community.  These are the things we do outside that of our normal business activities.

Within the day to day business, we have an active policy whereby we aim to use local businesses for supply and for services, and we have been instrumental in the start of a networking group to promote like minded businesses with the same ethical and social standards as ourselves.

We are working on the factory’s overall carbon impact – developing and investigating projects to harvest rain water and to harvest the power from the sun with solar technology to make certain we have minimised our impact on the environment.

In addition we are proud to say that 75% of our staff live within a 7 mile radius of the factory and 90% within a 12 mile radius making us very much a local business with links in, and responsibility for, our local community.
